Project Close Out for Vital Voices’ ‘Each One, Reach One’ Project

OCTOBER 2022- BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. Pathfinders organized a close-out event for its Vital Voices’ funded ‘Each One, Reach One’ project in October 2022. The event was a final project effort to serve our beneficiaries and put smiles on their faces following the year long project. The ceremony kicked off with beneficiaries sharing their success stories of how the project had impacted their lives, the progress recorded so far and where they intend to be in the foreseeable future.

In the course of the ceremony, various activities were conducted, including a skills training (ice-cream making), peer-to-peer mentoring, testimonials sharing and dance therapy. This was intended to aid beneficiaries in gaining additional knowledge on means of generating income for themselves and their families. Starter packs for the training were distributed, alongside the instructional materials.

The project closeout assisted us in receiving additional constructive feedback from beneficiaries concerning the project and ways in which improvements can be implemented.

Finally, the event wrapped up with karaoke, which served as relief therapy for the beneficiaries. Transportation stipend, data/ airtime and refreshments were distributed to the beneficiaries. All five project beneficiaries left elated and excited about their futures.

Each One Reach One was funded by a grant from the Global Freedom Exchange, a Vital Voices Global Partnership, for which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions stated herein are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s opinions and do not necessarily reflect those of Vital Voices.
