Pathfinders Conducts Additional Food Drive for ‘Project Restore’ Beneficiaries

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. Amidst the rapidly rising cost of food items, which has led to food insecurity, thirty (30) beneficiaries of Pathfinders’ Project Restore joyfully received humanitarian support on June 28th, 2024. Each beneficiary received rice, beans, cassava (‘garri’), groundnut oil, palm oil, cups of melon (‘egusi’), cups of crayfish, cooking spices, rows of sachet tomatoes paste, sachets of milk, sachets of milo, rows of cornflakes, spaghetti noodles, washing detergent, bars of washing soap, bars of bathing soap, a tube of toothpaste, one toothbrush, one antiperspirant, a pack of tissue, a sachet of shaving sticks, and nursery essentials, including sanitary pads and a packet of diapers for nursing mothers. Each beneficiary also received a transport stipend to enable them to transport their food items and toiletries home, ensuring several months of support for their families’ recovery.

‘Restore Project’ is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State, to which we are grateful.
