PJI Provides Legal Training for 50 Project Beneficiaries

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. Pathfinders organized a legal training on spousal alimony, child support rights and business laws for entrepreneurs on January 23rd, 2023. PJI provided the training for 45 additional beneficiaries in addition to the 5 Project Rise participants (making a total of 50 beneficiaries trained).

As part of the training, our expert lawyers taught participants the process of registering a business, the difference between registering a company and a business name, and the various applicable business laws at the state and federal level. In addition, training was also provided on securing child support and spousal alimony. Beneficiaries were also given the opportunity to ask questions after each session. They each received a transportation stipend and refreshments at the close of the training.

The Rise Project (2) project is funded by a grant from the Operation Underground Railroad, for which we are excited.
