Pathfinders Conducts Medical Outreach for Survivors

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE- April 29, 2021. Grateful for every opportunity we get to serve our local community and women who are emerging from sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. At our quarterly medical outreach, a team of doctors from University of Benin Teaching Hospital’s Association of Resident Doctors joined us to serve, providing screening for high blood pressure, high blood sugar, body mass index and oral health. Talks were also given by the team of doctors on COVID-19 (staying healthy and on getting the vaccine when available), sexual health, family planning and health and nutrition. ⁣
We are grateful to the United Nations’ Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights for their support in making the outreach a huge success.
