Pathfinders’ Business Academy Rounds off Classes for Cohort II Beneficiaries

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. Following the successful conclusion of Session I of our Pathfinders’ Business Academy (PBA) classes for 60 students on March 17th, 2023, we immediately kicked off sessions for Cohort II with 30 newly enrolled survivor students. We concluded those classes, which focused on interpersonal/personal skills, creative thinking and financial and risk management, on June 8th, 2023. The survivors observed that their ability to interact with others, their own individual abilities and the tailored survivor centered/trauma informed courses motivated them to delve into imaginative ideas and innovation.

In compliance with the course syllabus, every student presented their business plans and entrepreneurial strategies. Each plan was evaluated and thereafter, each beneficiary received constructive feedback and guidance on areas for improvement and development. This aligns particularly well with the support that Pathfinders will be providing for beneficiaries to establish their business ventures over the coming months.

The students eagerly anticipate their graduation ceremony, which will occur later this month, alongside graduating students in Cohort I.
