Pathfinders Trains 150 Women Survivors of the Boko Haram Insurgency

July 26, 2018

EDO STATE, NIGERIA-Our Pathfinders team, in partnership with CWFI Skill Acquisition Center, was at the ICCF Missions- Internally Displaced Persons Camp for survivors of the Boko Haram insurgency in Benin City on July 26, 2018 to train 150+ female survivors on catering and how to produce air freshener, perfume and bleach. Our goal is to provide them with vocational skills so that when they return home to North East Nigeria (the heart of the insurgency), they can be gainfully employed and therefore less susceptible to being trafficked.  Good things are happening in Nigeria. We are one of them.
