‘The Freedom Project’ Organizes Final Food Drive for 70 Beneficiaries

SEPTEMBER, 2023, BENIN CITY- On September 7th, 2023, 70 beneficiaries of ‘The Freedom Project’ received humanitarian support (food and basic needs items) as part of its final food drive. As well as alleviating poverty and hunger, the food items will serve to improve all beneficiaries’ physical, psychological, emotional, and family well-being.

Each beneficiary received a bag of rice, a bag of beans, a bag of garri, a keg of palm oil, a barrel of groundnut oil, 5 rows of sachet tomato paste, 10 packets of spaghetti, one sachet of milk, one sachet of milo beverage, food spices, a sachet of salt, a sachet of 850g detergent, two rows of bathing soap, deodorant spray, a pack of sanitary pad, a pack of toilet tissue and a transportation stipend. It was indeed heartwarming to see our survivors dancing with joy as they sorted through the supplies they received.

‘The Freedom Project’ is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State, to which we are grateful.
