Project Restore 3: 76 Beneficiaries Complete Pathfinders Business Academy

April 10, 2026

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. On April 9, 2026, we proudly witnessed the successful completion of our Business Academy by 75 Project Restore beneficiaries, a significant milestone in their journey towards economic independence and sustainable livelihoods.

The programme culminated in an inspiring business pitch session where beneficiaries confidently presented their business ideas before the PJI team. The presentations reflected not only the knowledge and skills they had gained throughout the course but also their creativity, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Many participants showcased product samples, explaining how their businesses would address everyday needs within their communities. They also shared their vision for growth, outlining their desire to establish thriving businesses and expand their ventures in the future. Their confidence, preparation, and ability to communicate practical business solutions demonstrated just how much they had grown during the programme.

For the PJI team, the pitching event was a proud and deeply rewarding moment. Watching beneficiaries transform ideas into viable business concepts reaffirmed the importance of investing in entrepreneurship as a pathway to long-term recovery and self-reliance. Equally inspiring was the confidence with which participants stood before the audience, sharing not only business plans but also renewed hope for their futures.

As we prepare for the next phase of the Project, i.e., providing start up capital for beneficiaries to start-up their businesses, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We look forward to seeing these aspiring entrepreneurs translate their ideas into successful enterprises that will strengthen their families, contribute to their communities, and create lasting impact.

Project Restore is funded by a grant from United States Department of State, to which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions presented are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Department of State.
