BENIN CITY, EDO STATE – MAY 2024: On May 31st, Pathfinders conducted a legal clinic for beneficiaries of its Project RISE (2), which is providing holistic support to trafficked and vulnerable women. The clinic served 5 beneficiaries of Project RISE and 45 other PJI program participants. Expert lawyers offered legal advice and guidance to survivors with legal issues, explaining how to initiate legal process in Nigeria, the relevant agencies involved, and how to access pro bono services. A Q&A session and one-on-one consultations with lawyers addressed specific concerns following the plenary sessions. Participants received transportation stipends and refreshments.
