Pathfinders Graduates 75 Business Academy Students and 13 Adult Literacy Students

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. On the 30th of August, 2024, Pathfinders Business Academy (PBA) and Pathfinders’ Adult Literacy Initiative (PALI) celebrated a landmark achievement with a joint graduation ceremony for the first and second cohorts under our ‘Project Restore.’ (The PBA curriculum empowers up and coming entrepreneurs who receive start-up capital from Pathfinders, while the PALI equips women with fundamental reading, writing, and numeracy skills.)

The event honored the achievements of 75 aspiring entrepreneurs and 13 adult learners who shared inspiring stories of their journeys and the insights gained throughout their respective programs. The ceremony also featured keynote speeches of exhortation and encouragement, certificate presentations and gift packages for all graduates. Additionally, transportation stipends were provided as a token of appreciation and support. Significantly, all graduates pledged to advocate against human trafficking in their local communities, further serving as ambassadors for the work we do.

‘Project Restore’ is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State, to which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions presented are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Department of State.
