Pathfinders Conducts Food Drive for ‘Project Restore’ Beneficiaries

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. On September 19th, 2024, we provided humanitarian support for thirty (30) survivors of trafficking and at-risk women under ‘Project Restore’ via a successful food item distribution event.

Each beneficiary received a bag of food items and essential supplies such as beans, rice, groundnut oil, palm oil, milk, beverages, detergent, bathing soap, washing soap, cornflakes, toothpaste, a toothbrush, salt, food seasonings, shaving sticks, sanitary pads, spaghetti, tomato paste sachets, cassava (garri),  melon seeds (egusi) and dried crayfish. They also received a transportation stipend to cover the cost of taking their groceries home. In light of the rising cost of food items, beneficiaries expressed enormous gratitude for these resources.

‘Project Restore’ is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State, to which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions presented are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Department of State.
