PJI Conducts Food Drive for OUR Project ‘RISE’ Beneficiaries

December 16, 2022

DECEMBER 15, 2022- BENIN CITY, EDO STATE.  On December 15, 2022, Pathfinders Justice Initiative conducted a food drive for the 5 survivor beneficiaries of our Operation Underground Rescue (OUR) funded Project RISE. The food drive was intended to provide humanitarian support towards their basic needs the festive season. Each beneficiary received rice, beans, sachet tomatoes, bar soap, detergent, toothpaste, spaghetti, tea and milk, pampers (for nursing mothers), groundnut oil, red oil, deodorant, garri, mixed spices, one carton of noodles, assorted clothing and a stipend for transportation. All beneficiaries were elated, considering the economic downturn in Nigeria and the struggles most of them are currently facing as a result.  We are hopeful that the materials will help to sustain them throughout the balance of the year and into the start of the new year.

Project RISE is funded by a grant from OUR, for which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions stated herein are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect those of OUR.  To support our work, please email info@pathfindersji.org.
