As part of our ongoing humanitarian support, conducted via a food and hygiene distribution drive on October 31, 2025, 90 beneficiaries of ‘Project Restore’ received hearty portions of beans, rice, garri, yams, ogbono, egusi, crayfish, vegetable oil, and red oil, along with salt, tomato paste, spaghetti, seasoning cubes, curry, and thyme to make cooking easier and meals more enjoyable. In addition, personal care essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, detergent, body soap, deodorant, sanitary pads, baby diapers, baby wipes, and tissue were also provided, as well as milk and beverages to support families with young children. To ease the transportation of the items, each beneficiary also received a stipend to help convey their items safely.
The beneficiaries were elated, grateful for the timely provision of these items just ahead of the holiday season. This support allows them to more readily focus on their healing and recovery by addressing a financial burden.
‘Project Restore’ is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State, to which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions presented are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Department of State.
