From July 9th to July 31st, 2025, 35 Project Restore beneficiaries took part in a dynamic business school programme designed to equip them with the tools and mindset to launch their small scale businesses.
Over three weeks, the women were trained in essential skills, including market research, pricing, customer engagement, bookkeeping and business planning. Each session was hands-on and practical, preparing them to think like business owners, not just startup hopefuls.
The program concluded with a powerful pitching session, where each participant presented her business idea to a panel. For many, it was their first time pitching opportunity but with courage, they stood tall and spoke with purpose.
This Business School was not just a training, it was indeed a launchpad. As they now prepare to receive startup capital support from PJI, these 35 women step forward equipped and ready to build sustainable futures.
