PJI Conducts UNODC Project ‘Reach One, Reach Many’ Legal Training and Food Drive

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE- On the 2nd of October 2024, Pathfinders Justice Initiative organised a legal training session for 20 beneficiaries pursuant to its United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Project ‘Reach One, Reach Many.’ The trainer delivered an informative session, equipping beneficiaries with essential knowledge on crucial business laws, partnership creation, and expansion strategies. The training also covered the fundamentals of launching a business and the registration process to ensure financial accountability. Beneficiaries actively engaged with the material, asking questions and sharing their insights during the interactive session.

As part of our humanitarian support, we surprised the 20 beneficiaries with food items, providing a well appreciated conclusion to the enlightening program. Each beneficiary received a care package containing essential food items and basic supplies, including rice, beans, garri, melon seeds, crayfish, vegetable oil, red oil, milo, milk, salt, seasoning packs, sanitary towels, bathing and washing soaps. To ease the burden of transporting their care packages, the beneficiaries were provided with a transportation stipend, which they acknowledged with sincere gratitude, given the prevailing high costs of food and groceries.

‘Reach One, Reach Many’ is funded by the United Nations’ Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking In Persons, to which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions stated herein are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect those of the UNVTF.
