PJI Conducts Medical Outreach for Project Restore (2) Beneficiaries

BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. On December 9, 2025, as part of our commitment to holistic survivor support, a successful medical outreach was organized for 135 beneficiaries in collaboration with NNPC Medical Services Limited (NMSL), Benin Zone. The outreach focused on improving access to essential health information, preventive care, and basic medical services.

Beneficiaries participated in health education seminars covering key topics, including Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family Planning, Cervical and Breast Cancer Awareness, Blood Pressure Management, and Nutrition. These sessions equipped participants with practical knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.

In addition to the seminars, beneficiaries received individual medical consultations and counseling with qualified doctors. This was followed by on-site medical screenings, including blood sugar testing, blood pressure checks, eye examinations, and dental checks, allowing for early detection and appropriate medical guidance where needed.

The outreach was well received, with beneficiaries expressing appreciation for the opportunity to access comprehensive health services in a safe and supportive environment.

Project Restore is funded by a grant from the United States Department of State, to which we are grateful. The opinions, findings, and conclusions presented are Pathfinders Justice Initiative’s and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Department of State.
