What a joy to celebrate 2020 with our incredible survivors who, notwithstanding the ongoing global pandemic, found a way to dig deep to overcome. Their testimonials today at our End of Year Celebration were heartwarming and reflected the fact that they channeled their creative energy into purpose and economic success. These women are truly warriors!
Via an exhibition, some of them showed off their crafts, products and designs. We are also grateful to Yuwa Aladeselu who spoke powerfully on “Setting Certain Goals” for a successful 2021. Thank you.
As part of our third and final 2020 #COVID19 Relief Drive, each woman received humanitarian and other support, including clothing, lunch and a transportation stipend, with support from Action Aid Nigeria and High Commission of Canada to Nigeria.
We’re grateful to our team and our volunteers for working during the holiday to put smiles on the faces of these women who made it through 2020!
