AUGUST 2023-BENIN CITY, EDO STATE. At Pathfinders, we not only believe in supporting underserved women with the necessary resources they need to build successful businesses, we also believe in equipping them with relevant and necessary education that helps them thrive in their chosen business endeavours.
For us, this too, amounts to holistic care.
To this end, on August 14, 2023, we commenced classes for thirty-five beneficiaries enrolled in Pathfinders’ Business Academy (Cohort III), with the women receiving specialized business training tailored to their business needs. The curriculum included subjects such as interpersonal skills, creative thinking and financial and risk management. Our beneficiaries eagerly immersed themselves in their studies.
Furthermore, on August 29th, 2023, our Pathfinders team offered valuable guidance to the students as they presented the outcomes of their business plans and entrepreneurial strategies. This step marked a crucial milestone in their entrepreneurial journey. Thanks to Pathfinders’ unwavering support, these aspiring entrepreneurs are well-equipped to start their businesses and will continue to receive ongoing monitoring and evaluation assistance.
We are immensely grateful for the funding provided by the United States Department of State for ‘The Freedom Project.’ It is important to note that the opinions, findings, and conclusions expressed here are those of Pathfinders Justice Initiative and do not necessarily reflect the views of the United States Department of State.
