CWFI’s Women’s Restoration Center

May 20, 2014

On March 6, 2014, PJI partnered with CWFI’s Women’s Restoration Center in Benin City, Nigeria to house its Anchor Center, a safe haven for female survivors of gender based violence and child sex abuse. Survivors will also participate in CWFI’s Skill Acquisition Program to acquire skills in order to obtain economic independence and empowerment.

On March 8, 2014, PJI also partnered with Benson Idahosa University for its #takemeoffmute self defense and empowerment campaign for female students. The campaign also engages male university students as allies in the promotion of gender justice.
