BENIN CITY, NIGERIA- On July 28, 2018, Pathfinders’ R. Evon Idahosa participated as a speaker at TEDxAideyanSt in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. Ms. Idahosa spoke on the three lies that Nigeria has embraced concerning the value of our women and girls that has led to Nigeria becoming globally recognized, infamously, on the issue of sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. She highlighted the fact that only by debunking these lies and replacing them with the truth will Nigeria be liberated from sex slavery. She urged audience members and TEDx listeners globally to take up the challenge of fighting sex trafficking by joining the growing movement of CSOs that are dedicated to the fight against it in Nigeria.
