This Holiday Season, Help Us #LightHerPath

As we approach the end of 2018, there is so much to celebrate concerning what we have collectively accomplished this year!  Here are some of the highlights:

-providing services and training to almost 300 women in Nigeria

sensitizing millions of Nigerians on the dangers of sex trafficking via our radio, television, print and social media presence

-serving as  consultants on human trafficking to the UN Rapporteur on Trafficking, the Office of Senate President of Nigeria, members of Nigeria’s House of Representatives and the U.K. Home Office

drafting anti-trafficking legislation that will soon be introduced in Nigeria’s Parliament as a Bill to amend Nigeria’s current anti-trafficking law

-speaking at The Platform Nigeria, a national conference culling emerging and existing thought leaders in their respective fields

-adding an additional 150 volunteers to our already incredible team of volunteers and staff

All of it has been worth the hard work and determination it has taken to emerge as a thought leader in Nigeria’s anti-trafficking space.

But even as you read this, tens of thousands of young women remain vulnerable to becoming victims of trafficking- simply because they lack access to a sustainable path to economic independence.  Others, who have already been trafficked overseas, are desperately seeking a path to escape their traffickers and to return to safety in Nigeria.

We know that our vision to eradicate sex trafficking in the developing world, starting in Nigeria, resonates with you. We know that you believe that every young woman is entitled to live a life of dignity, a life that is graced with agency and a life free from sexual exploitation.  Please join us this holiday season as we provide sustenance in the shadows and light the paths of young women who need our support.  Our goal is to raise $25,000.  Every $1,000 donated will ensure support in 2019 for one survivor in our ‘The Anchor Safehouse,’ while every $500 donated will help us provide financial literacy and start up capital to a survivor or young woman who is vulnerable to being trafficked. Please also consider a reoccurring donation of whatever you can give a month, if that is more convenient.

Whatever you can give will make a difference, as you support us in rescuing one and creating a path for many.

Ways to donate:

-with a credit card or via Paypal, please donate NOW: www.pathfindersji.org/donate.

Here’s to lighting more paths together in 2019!

In freedom and hope,
