BENIN CITY, NIGERIA- on December 27, 2019, further to our HERS Program (Hub of Economic Resources for Survivors sponsored by the French Embassy to Nigeria’s PISCCA Program), Pathfinders conducted our end of year event where our ‘by popular demand’ training (chosen by survivors) focused on personal hygiene and sexual health for almost 60 of our survivors.
Some of our survivors also had an opportunity to showcase their creations over the year, celebrate their graduations, create cooperatives amongst each other and receive certificates, prizes and recognition (for outstanding attitude, best survivor advocate, most improved business, best performance in skills training, etc.) for their hard work. Each survivor also left with a holiday present to celebrate the holidays with their families!
We are proud to see them excited about their lives and futures and are so proud of all they accomplished in 2019.
Here’s to doing even more together in 2020!
